Leeds Castle

After yesterday’s  35 mile slog we decided to take some miles off of our voyage by taking a train part way.  We pedaled a mile to Cuxton and got off the train twenty minutes later.  We cut twelve miles off the trip, but it still took us two hours to cover six miles.

Arriving at Leeds Castle we had a great time wandering around.  Originally built in 1100s its has been the home of many queens, Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn lived there.

We left and it took us about ninety minutes to cover the last five miles before we got to our hotel for the night.

We had supper in the Pub and walked around the town before calling it a night.   This is the local church
