Traveling on the Underground
Today Sandy went to the town of Hampstead, named for the small suburb of Montreal. She visited the home of John Keats the poet.
I went off to visit the Royal Air Force museum. Managed to see a number of aircraft that are not in any other museum I’ve visited.
Left the museum and caught up with Sandy in Hampstead and had a dessert on the high street.
While there we spoke to a local who informed us that Hampstead was the first town outside of London that the stage coach stopped at and was the home of the famous highwayman Dick Turpin.
